Saying Farwell to Melanin in the Sun

Nothing means more to me than the support of my Beautiful Hueman Community, especially those who have been supporting me since Day 1 when I first launched Sol Butter in just one size and in one scent. Our OG 'Melanin in the Sun' is near and dear to my heart, as it's a custom fragrance created to capture the true essence and mission of Hueman Sol.

Due to circumstances outside of the control of our business, we will, unfortunately, have to sunset the original 'Melanin in the Sun' fragrance scent. The manufacturer who produces one of the scent ingredients has discontinued that key ingredient indefinitely, which has altered the original scent of 'Melanin in the Sun.' Unfortunately, there have been quite a few instances as of late with materials being discontinued from suppliers without warning, and while we are disheartened and frustrated, we are working hard to create a bigger and better alternative. Reformulations are quite common in the fragrance industry, and though it can be frustrating, I will be working hard over the next few months to find a better alternative for 'Melanin in the Sun.'

Our perfumer has already provided us with a new option that you'll see in the Sol Butter Mini 3oz sizes of 'Melanin in the Sun' available for purchase on our site. It's still a beautiful fresh and powdery scent with notes of fresh florals and subtle chocolate.
